PRAFOTA 2015 Long List

The organizing committee of PRAFOTA project photography contest is happy to announce the long-list of 2015 award candidates. On December, 15 (attention, the date is approximate) the short list is going to be announced and Gran Prix in each of the nominations will be awarded.

The short-listed projects will be published in the annual catalogue of the contest and shown at the exhibition (that will be held in February 2016 at Minsk art space “CECH”). One of the projects in each category will be awarded a Gran Prix, their authors will be helped to organize personal exhibitions within “The Month of Photography in Minsk” in 2016. Also they will have an opportunity to attend one of international photo events: a festival, a workshop or a portfolio-review (the organizing committee will decide on the format of the prize after the contest results are announced).

PRAFOTA award is given for the second time now. This year 79 projects from 53 authors were submitted to the contest. The jury members are Anna Shpakova (the Jury Chairperson), Svetlana Poleshchyk, Ken Schles, Simon Norfolk, James Wellford, George Georgiou, Barbara Stauss.
